My eCookBooks feature the recipes and information from the Frugal Recipes blog that was added from 2007 to 2009, most of which has been deleted from the blog to make room for a lot of new content. The proceeds from the sales of these eCookBooks go toward bettering that blog.

Family and Friends

I have two daughters, Skye and Zowie. They are my life. They are awesome. I homeschooled them for 11 years, all told.  Skye lives up north with her boyfriend, Jonas. Zowie is a freshman in college, living on campus and majoring in Psychology.

My best friend is Missy. She is engaged to Lance and has a son, Travis. Missy and I have known each other since junior high school. We get along great, and have fun when we hang out. We do not always agree on everything, but that is okay. We always support each other.

My mom and stepfather live in the same small town as me, though out further. They are lucky in that they have a lot more space for gardening. They have a cat. My mom is a housewife, retired from the mill early. My stepfather drives a truck and does other things. Things with cement or something. My mom and I are close.

My sister, Sheila, has two sons. Zach and Isaiah. They live more in the country than I do, but don’t have a garden or anything.  They have two dogs (Rigley and Helo), two cats(Rosta and Willow) and a hen named Lola (Zach rescued her from a horrible existence). I don’t think my landlord would be open to me having hens, or I would have taken her.

My brother, Chuck, works at Toys ‘R’ Us. He is a bachelor. He works hard and lives in an apartment. His cat’s name is Dude.

Katie is another ‘sister’. She has the biggest family. Her husband, Philip, and their daughters Carlee, Mymy, Puss and Mouse as well as her brother all live in her house. They have two ferrets, many cats (including Spot, my Pixie’s Mama). They garden as well.

My cousins’ daughter, Ashland, is also important to me. She and her husband live in Georgia. They are having their second baby.

Okay, so the people above are very important to me. I love them all dearly.
