Updates, Candles and Oil Lamps

Posted by Shannon Buck on November 16, 2008

First, I have updated our Animals page with pictures of the new kittens. Check them out. They are so cute, both girls, and both will be indoor cats like their new sister and brother.

My daughter, Zowie (16 1/2), decided that we should use our abundance of candles and oil lamps for lighting during the evening hours. This came about during our last family meeting, while we were trying to figure out how to pinch more pennies. It is a good idea. One that can be used when we don’t need the light for reading or to see small things, like stitches when hand sewing.

So, this evening I will be using the light of a couple of lamps and some candles to write a few quick articles for some blogging that I have to do. I will be doing this while Zowie is working on her teen political blog.

Have a nice evening.

Shannon
